Is he a champion or does he conform to the breed standard 100%. If the answer is no to either of these then who would want to use him, let alone pay ?

Hi, You my find that as your dog is over 5+1/2 yers old and has never been used for stud he may not be interested. The best thing to do is to look for a breeder in your local area and ask if you can try with one of their bitches. You may have to do it for free until he gets proven. Until he is proven you can't charge anyway.
Some breeders will ask that your dog is given a health check by your vet an d is given a clean bill of health. I know of some breeders that insist that the dog or bitch that is used with their breed is put on a course of anti biotics. This may seem extreme but if you don't realise that your dog or bitch has even a small infection and is passed onto the other dog it can make it infertile. I do know of 1 particular crufts winner that this happened to. Thankfully I have two of his grand-daughters that I bred from his son.

It doesn't matter what "unusual" markings the dog has but what pedigree the dog has.

Hope this helps.
